Oil crock pot, mix all ingredients, using only 1/2 of grated cheese. Put mixture in crock pot and put remaining cheese on top. Let simmer in crock pot for 4 or more hours.

   2      tablespoons   olive oil
     1/4  cup           chopped green onions
   1      teaspoon      minced garlic
   1      14.5 oz can   tomatoes -- drained and chopped

   1      cup           heavy cream
   2                    egg yolks
     3/4  cup           grated Parmesan cheese
   8      ounces        fettucine
   1      cup           frozen peas -- thawed
   1 1/2  cups          sliced fresh mushrooms

In skillet, brown chicken breasts in olive oil. Place chicken in crock-pot.  Add green onions, garlic, tomatoes, and basil.  Cover and cook on Low 7 to 9 hours. Remove chicken and cut into pieces. Return chicken pieces to pot.  Stir in cream, egg yolks, and Parmesan cheese.  Cover and cook on high 30 minutes to thicken. While sauce is thickening, cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain.  Add fettuccine, peas and mushrooms. Cover and cook on high 30 to 60 minutes longer.

   8       oz           Whipped cream cheese

   1                    10 oz pkg frozen broccoli
                        -(chopped) -- thawed/drained
   1                    4 oz jar pimiento -- chopped/d
                        -rained
     1/4   ts           Pepper
                        Paprika -- to taste

  Cook pasta shell according to package directions.  Rinse with cold
  water; drain.  Stir cream cheese in saucepan over medium heat until
  melted then add milk, stirring until blended.  Stir in Romano cheese.
  Reserve 3/4 cup of sauce.  Combine reserved sauce, chicken, broccoli,
  pimientos and pepper in bowl; mix well.  Stuff each pasta shell with
  1/3 cup of the chicken mixture.  Arrange in nonstick 9 x 13-inch
  baking pan. Spoon remaining sauce over pasta.  Sprinkle with paprika.
  Bake, covered with foil, at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated
  through.

   6      ounces        dried pasta -- of choice
     1/2  cup           oil
   1      tablespoon    sesame oil
     1/3  cup           light soy sauce
     1/3  cup           rice vinegar
   3      tablespoons   sugar
     1/4  teaspoon      peper
     1/2  teaspoon      ground ginger
     1/4  cup           chopped parsley
     1/3  cup           sliced green onions
   6      cups          fresh spinach
     1/4  cup           toasted sesame seeds

Cut chicken breasts in half and place in the slow cooker.  Cover with water and add celery, onion, salt and peppercorns.  Set on low and cook 5-6 hours.  When chicken is cooked throughly, remove and let cool.  Cut into chunks or shred.  Cook dried pasta a

NOTES : Pasta and succulent poached chicken are very tasty together.  This salad stores well and is great for picnics.

   1      medium        yellow onion, chopped
   2      tablespoons   olive oil

   2      (16 oz) cans  tomato sauce
   1      16 oz can     stewed tomatoes
   1      16 oz can     tomato puree
   2      ribs          celery, sliced, (2 or 3) -- optional
                        herbs and spices to taste*
                        hot cooked spaghetti

*Add a teaspoon to a tablespoon of any or all of the following: onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, red pepper (cayenne), white pepper, basil, parsley, paprika, oregano, spaghetti seasoning.

Put the chicken into a crockpot early in the day.  It's fine if they are still frozen.  Add as little liquid as possible.  Water, chicken stock, or a bit of white vermouth, or a combination works fine.  Add a couple of bay leaves, and some salt.  Turn the crockpot on low and go to work (or carry on your normal day's activities).   When you get home, or in the evening, turn off the crockpot.  Put water on to boil the spaghetti.  Remove chicken from the crockpot and discard skin and bones.
In a deep pot, heat olive oil.  Add onion and garlic and cook until the onions are clear.  Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, tomato puree, the chicken and about a cup of the chicken broth from the crockpot. (If you add too much broth, the sauce will be too soupy; if you add too little, the chicken taste will be a bit weak.)  Stir, cutting up the whole tomatoes.  Add celery, onion powder, garlic powder, peppers, basil, parsley, paprika, and oregano.  Cook, stirring from time to time, while the water for the spaghetti comes to a boil.  Cook spaghetti, drain and serve with grated Parmesan cheese on the side.

  Here's what I've done a time or four. This "recipe" has not been   cooked often enough to be stabilized and really called a recipe.   Still, there have been no complaints and many requests for seconds.

   1 1/2  cups          water
   3      tablespoons   beef broth powder
   2      4 oz cans     sliced mushrooms -- (or 8oz fresh), up
                        -- to
   1      6 oz          contain  sour cream -- (ff) or yogurt
     1/2  cup           flour

Toss steak strips with flour and seasonings,
place in crock pot with onions, mushrooms, water and broth.
Cover and cook LOW 8-10 hours.
Before serving, combine sour cream and 1/2 cup flour (or left-over
coating flour mixture). Stir into crock-pot and
turn on HIGH for 15 minutes to 1 hour or until thickened.
Serve over whole grain noodles.

  Brown meat in slow cooker on top of range or skillet
  on medium heat. Transfer pot to base or meat to slow
  cooker. Add remaining ingredients except pasta to
  cooking pot. Stir to combine. Cover and cook at
  Setting #3 for West Bend or low in others for 7 - 9
  hours OR at #5 or high for 3 - 4 hours.  Increase heat
  to high (#5). Add pasta and stir to blend. Cover and
  continue cooking for 30 minutes until pasta is done.

                         Italian Tortellini Stew

   2      tablespoons   dried basil leaves

   1      8 ounce pkg.  uncooked dry cheese-filled tortellini

Combine all ingredients except tortellini in crock pot. Mix well. Cover and cook on Low setting for at least 6 hours. When ready to serve, increase heat to High setting. Add tortellini. Cook and additional 20 minutes or until tortellini are soft.

NOTES : Add tortellini to the rich Italian sauce when you come home from work. Supper's ready in 20 minutes. Per serving: 220 calories, 4 g. fat, (6% of total calories from fat), 20 mg. cholesterol.

In slow-cooking pot, combine drained beef, pork, onion, and garlic with tomatoes, tomato sauce, bouillon cube, parsley, sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, and basil. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Mix cottage cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 tsp. salt, and oregano. In 13 x 9-inch pan, layer half the cooked noodles, sauce, mozzarella cheese, and cottage cheese mixture; repeat, reserving enough sauce for layer on top. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Bake in 350 F oven for 45 minutes.

One way I do this is to do all the chopping and everything the night
before, dump everything except the pasta into the crockpot.  As my crockpot
has an inside that I can lift out. I stick this into the fridge covered,
overnight.  Get up in the am, slip the innards of the crockpot into it's
lonely metal shell that has missed its innards al night and cook on low all
day.  Come home, cook the pasta, stir it into the soup and serve with some
lovely bread.

Just before serving, cook spaghetti according to package directions.  Serve topped with Meatballs in sauce and pass grated Parmesan cheese.  Serves 10 to 12.
